My Story
I’m Sandeep Mangwana (aka Sandy). Sandy SalAura is who I become.
A performing artist since age 16 through modern dance under Sumeet Nagdev’s core team, ballet, jazz, Latin American, kathak, and over a decade in the Bollywood industry, long before I was a drag queen. That training is what I bring to every stage.
I’m a brown, queer, Dalit artist from Mumbai, based in Goa, working internationally. Drag, for me, is power. And it’s resistance.
